Staunton is considered one of Virginia’s finest small cities. It offers many of the amenities of a much larger urban environment, with relatively lower costs and a relaxing lifestyle. It is also ranked as one of the top small cities in America and is noted for its beautiful downtown and residential neighborhoods, quality schools, large urban parks, and award-winning healthcare.

A four-season climate means year-round outdoor recreational activities from skiing at Massanutten and Wintergreen resorts to golfing at the world-renowned Omni Homestead Resort or one of the many championship golf courses in the region.
