We work collaboratively with the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund and the Staunton Downtown Development Association, both geared to help you turn ideas into business plans and investments into profits. In Staunton, you’ll also find a growing network of people like you who are excited to share ideas and collaborate with others.
Shenandoah Community Capital Fund
The Shenandoah Community Capital Fund aims to connect people, cultivate ideas, and provide access to capital.
Community: Get connected through the hOUR Economy, a community time bank initiative by SCCF. Visit one of SCCF's community events , and learn more about their community partners.
Support: Get the assistance you need by talking through your idea in one-on-one counseling, getting your idea on paper with SCCF's 8 week business planning course, getting connected with a mentor, or learning practical business skills through a Tuesday Tips workshop. You can also sign up for one-on-one training tailored to your business idea with the Director of Education and Marketing.
Capital: SCCF supports entrepreneurs and small business owners by providing access to up to $50,000. This capital can be used to support start-up costs, operational costs, or expansion costs.
